Never buy a car from a guy who doesn't wear a seatbelt on the test drive.

Reason: If they dont care about their own safety, they also dont care about the state of the car they're selling either.

I spent a day, 6 hours, in Kwik Fit fixing ABS sensor problems, knackered rear discs that were rusted through and cracked on the hub.

Never buy a car from someone who doesn't take care of their car would be the simpler theory.

or

Never buy a car if you want it to be immaculate but you have no Idea what you are looking for.

The big flashing STOP light was a hard one to miss hehe

I had a pretty good idea what it would have been tbh, ABS sensor, known issue. It was the other things that start creeping in, I'm not entirely sure the receipt for rear discs and pads were the ones that were on the car. But hey, ho. I negotiated down a price I was happy with, now on to the rest of the niggles to fix
