What's your choice of fuel for the daily drive and do you have a reason other than cost?

Super not in the list. Its an important distinction for those of us that choose to piss away £100/week on petril.

Super is only UK though in terms of naming. Also not all super unleadeds are equal.

Petrol for me, too.

I used to use the Range Rover as a daily driver. Short distances + diesel and associated crap + big fat turbo = massive turbo failure, catastrophic engine explosion, £11,000 bill.

I set myself a budget of £2000 (the price of just the turbo) to buy a snotter. I did, 2.5l NA petrol. Use it every day for the 8 mile return commute. Love it. Selling the Rangie.

fk DIESEL.

Diesel. Prefer the power delivery of a tourqey large diesel, plus it's relative less thirst.

on 35k it makes a difference.

V Power.

Daily does roughly 12K a year and neither it nor my weekend car gets above 30mpg. I'm not going to work out how much it costs.

I had a Golf Bluemotion for a few days, and I enjoyed the torqueiness of it. My parents had a VW Sharan Diesel as well and while that was an absolute van, I never had a problem with the engine itself. I disliked my petrol Astra hire car more. I also liked the Juke Diesel I drove back from the Lake District.

Mind you maybe I just haven't driven any of the really awful ones. ~XD

I've only done about 25k miles in the last four years, so diesel makes no sense for me.
