Buying And Driving A Car In The USA - Possible ?

[V8RX7]

Hi,

I want a very specific pick up that I can't find over here.

(Older 96-00 shape Ram, extended cab, 2500, 5.9, 4x4, petrol - before anyone points out the one in the classifieds on here after taking a day off to view it, it turns out it's not a 2500 after all)

I was planning a trip to the USA anyway so I'm thinking about buying one off ebay, using it whilst over there then driving it to the docks.

The main problem I think will be insurance - is it possible to insure a car / pick up as a UK citizen ?

I'm thinking of visiting for 2-4 weeks

Thanks
