Expecting too much again from car dealerships
Discussion
Sent two e-mails this morning to two different independent prestige dealerships, one regarding a Jaguar and one regarding a Maserati. They were sent via their own websites. In the mails, after asking the usual stuff of history, owners, notice needed to view the cars etc ( in particular the Maser is an unusual model so the questions were very relevant, and it is by appointment only)I politely asked if they could reply by mail in the first instance as it was difficult for me to sometimes take calls.
Having not received any reply to either, and having got to the point where I have a bit of time,I ring the first place to be asked "What Jaguar?" (the details were a direct link to the car!)."Oh that one sold ages ago,a colleague did mention something and I thought he was going to mail you back" He didn't.
The place with the Maserati? Just rung it and got an answering machine,5 hours after I sent the mail.
Looks like I won't be viewing either tomorrow.
