If anyone hasn't had the pleasure, apparently the mk2 Audi TT has the brightest rear fog light in the free world. It's almost physically painful to drive behind - my eyes still aren't right 10 minutes later!

Of course it's not foggy out, nor has it been in months...

Cool 1/10 rant bro

Hey! We should be the judge of that!

Hope your eye sight returned to normal now.

It was the one time I actually wished the level crossing was down because I was going to have a word.

I guess the offensively bright light thing has spread to every piece of illumination on the vehicle now? German cars seem to be some of the worst for it. This really was bad

Possibly some sort of safety feature? You can't drive too close or you'll be incinerated

Manufacturers seem to be fitting excruciatingly blinding lights to every bulb these days. I was behind some generic new Ford people carrier last night at a junction; its indicator was bright enough to have to shield my eyes from it. It was right at eye level as well.
Did people really have issues seeing normal indicators? I don't understand the recent need for all of these bulbs that are brighter than the sun. cool

Nah, I didn't fancy melting my number plate hehe

Puma brakes are notoriously weak, so the only time I ever close up on someone is if I'm overtaking

I think it's Audi who are trialling some sort of laser device that marks out a red stop line on the road behind the car, and / or a warning triangle in addition to brake lights.

Sounds like it has potential for some aftermarket "adjustment"

Sounds like you were really blinded, right up to when you got the number plate.

Had there not been oncoming traffic I would've gone with the high beams. No front fog on a Puma

Touche.

I doubt someone would upgrade their fog light from standard, so feel free to find a mk2 TT
