My 120d has grey leather and matching carpets.

Already got the gliptone for the leather, but can anyone recommend a good carpet cleaner ?

I live in a 1st floor flat so getting a Vax isnt an option. Looking at spray then wipe or spray then brush then wipe style products - ideally something I can buy from Asda/Tesco/Halfrauds etc.

Got new fitted mats from Amazon and want to give the carpets a clean down before I put them in.

I have always hired a rug doctor from B&Q for car interiors to get them really clean. you will need a plug though.....

I've had hose pipes and extension leads hanging from first floor flat windows in the past...

I used this

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/...

You are supposed to use a vacuum after the using the product but you may be able to get away without it. Do you know anyone with a handheld/rechargeable jobby that you could borrow from?

I had a stain on the carpet (from previous owner) and it had been there a couple of years before I decided to tackle it, used the Turtle Wax stuff not expecting much of a result and it removed it completely, quite impressed.

I use the Autoglym carpet shampoo, the stuff in the aerosol can not the trigger pump bottle and it's always removed the marks in my carpets. All you need is this and a damp rag, job done!

My first thought too. Better to do what you need to do, in order to do it properly.
