Dear Esteemed PH members,

I'm a newby so not sure where this topic should really go but I need some advice...

Basically i want to modify a vehicle (small car/van) to be a commercial advertisement for my products, very similar to the red bull promo mini coopers ( http://www.customcrs.com/rbmini.html ) .

I guess though that this is likely to be expensive and i havent come across a UK firm that does similar.
So my idea is to do a cheaper version without having to cut the back end of a roof off a vehicle.

I have a couple of electronic cigarette shops so would like to display an electronic cigarette on the roof of the vehicle (long cylinder lying horizontally). However i can understand why red bull have put their can at an angle, so that vehicles behind can actually make out more than just the end of the can. So i've decided to have half a cylinder stuck to the back end of the car/van in addition to cylinder on the roof. so that those following can see. So an example might be (quick rough mockup)...

I would also like to wire up the "lights" of the ecig model at the back to turn on and off with the brake lights.

So my questions are...
1. Suggest a trendy cool vehicle to make my promo additions to.
2. Suggest a garage that might be able to do this conversion.

Another idea is to do a conversion on a kit car so that the body looks like one big electronic cigarette. I am willing to pay for this if its possible (along lines of

Many thanks.
H F Wong.

I dont mean to offend, but rather than doing that to a car I would try to improve your website a bit and advertise it perhaps in local papers and the like first, perhaps employ someone to post leaflets thro doors in every house they can .

im guessing from the H F Wong on the end of your post you are chinese, now dont mean to be rasict but i know chinese people like blingy brash things, and as such I dont think the ecig ontop of a car is gonna work in your favour tbh.

Well, the idea actually came to me when i got a quote for advertising on 40 buses for 8 weeks, came to about 13K inc vat. I thought for that money i could probably get a permanent promo vehicle.

Blingy brash things? i think some gold plated alloys will bring some cred back smile

I don't think the particular gold-plated-alloy demographic would be into electronic ciggys, unless they come with an adapter for weed or heroin.
