I've heard there are lots of sheep and lots of rain in Wales but also there are some amazing roads there. After doing fair bit of looking into, I was wondering how many days people on here think is enough to get a decent trip done there?

Depends what type of trip but anywhere from 3-10 days should do it.

Well from the roads I've made a list of to drive on, it looks like it will end up being a criss cross across Wales starting up north and finishing down south

Middle of Wales or down the coast?

You'll have fun either way.

Exactly what we did 4 yrs ago..
Started at Oulton Park for the gold cup ( I know ...its Cheshire)..Then just pointing at a campsite on the map and going for it !!
Set satnav to 'no lorries, motorways, dual carriageways' and it was great....
Rain ......yes..sometimes.. Great roads...Defo !!
Took 5 days and changed campsite every day.......More people should do it yes

Probably more middle of Wales across the mountains and surrounding roads, still to look into coastal roads as of yet, heard the west coast is pretty good

The mountain roads around the heads of the valleys are fantastic, the section from treorchy over to the rhigos is a great drive. Plenty of choice though!
