As I'm guessing everyone on here watched TG tonight I thought it would be a good idea to discuss who on here is a fan of the new GT500 and who dislikes it? smile Personally I love the looks, Sound and Performance of the 2013 GT500 and it's reasonably cheap considering it has 600HP and can hit 200mph, but the downside is the cost to run the thing! smile

Well first of the mpg would be better than TG made out as the mpg figures quoted from the dash were mile to a smaller US gallon.

Personally I prefer the previous shape. I don't like the more rounded rear of the newer models. A friend has a GT and its pretty nice. Took 4 of us to the NEC last year in reasonable comfort. Nothing squeaked or fell off either!! On a serious note you would probably be better ff posting this in the Mustang forum

Wrong, you're an adult who thinks he's hard behined a computer, you act like a child! I thought these forums were for sharing our love for cars, not to act silly :P

Harsh... but true.

OT: I dislike it. It's too brash.

For £35k yes, for the £50k+ it'd cost once you got it here probably not.

Start a thread in GG that isn't about foglights.

but I hear that that cost can be reduced by charging kids £20 or more to hear it start up.

I don't know frown people are just being horrible to me after i posted about my friend paying £20 for a car to be revved, but i seem to have been beaten for it, had people stalk me on facebook, share my photos and cyberbully me, not very nice stuff really! Some very harsh things that could really hurt someone have been said to me.

jeez when did PH become so nasty. A chap posts a thread up about a car after a TG episode and gets slated for it. It's pathetic. PH really is going down hill. Only the other week when the McLaren P1 was announced we got people saying it's pointless, and someone else saying it looks generic! FFS, I thought this was a site for car enthusiasts. Maybe not.

Anyway - OP, for 35k, probably, but for the 50+k, unlikely. I like a bit of refinement, comfort etc in my life and would happily sacrifice some power for that if it's as bad as others (not just Clarkson, I might add) have said.

That's what's so great about cars like the C63/M3/RS4 etc....they're plenty fast enough (OK, not >650bhp quick!) but they're oh so civilised after a hard day at work too, making them the best all-round blend for my personal preferences.

But E38, sometimes its nice to have something a bit different. Something a bit more involved. Is it worth the extra money over a normal Mustang? Maybe not.

Thanks dude smile i agree with what you think about the price, it's a bit steep with import taxes, and it may be better to buy something like an m3, but to stand out the mustang is the one to choose smile

Don't worry about it kid. You've ruffled a few feathers with your other post and things have gotten way out of hand.
I feel sorry for you, the amount of crap you're taking isn't nice.

Well done though, to see a young lad have such passion for cars. It's this type of passion that'll spur you on in later life to go and get your dream car. You're a young lad on a car forum showing his appreciation for precious metal. Not some thieving scum in Salford crashing and burning Audis. I think we all need to remember that.

And as far as bullying via your Facebook is concerned, well that's just disgraceful. Sorry to hear that.
