Couldn't find a news article or thread on this already so assuming it hasn't been posted yet. SEAT have unveiled the new 3dr Leon today and it looks stunning! Definitely a return to form for the brand, this is exactly the type of car they should be producing. Sporty, dynamic and youthful looks combined with the very latest VAG underpinnings. So Ford wont make a 3dr Focus and now Seat will make a 3dr Leon!! Whats the world coming to.
Hopefully it will have a slightly more powerful than golf gti engine with its fancy diff for less money
Here's hoping.Hopefully it will have a slightly more powerful than golf gti engine with its fancy diff for less money

I had a Mk1 Cupra R, it was quite a bit cheaper than a Golf, had 30hp more (later upped to 45hp more), big Brembo 4 pots up front and climate control as standard.
Build quality was a bit iffy inside, not the end of the world though. The styling was better than the golf too, especially the front end.

I drove the current (now outgoing) Cupra (230hp or so) and wasn't as impressed - the interior was awful, very cheap looking worse than the old car. Went ok but was a bit bland.
IF this car is anything like the original it'll be a steal at 12 months old because no-one takes any notice of SEAT.
