Tell me about the Lotus Esprit S3

Seen one for sale locally, looks nice from the pictures and the S3's in general seem somewhat of a bargain. I've read a few buyers guides and from what I can see they seem to be fairly vice free (apart from the early gearbox) currently own as 944 and parts prices seem far cheaper than Porsche ones and the cars themselves seem pretty simple and easy to work on.

So what am I missing?

There's a 'wheeler dealers' where mike and Ed fix up an Esprit but might have been an S2. I seem to remember they needed to do a bit of work on suspension, interior and sunroof seal.

At the end of the day it's a Lotus so don't expect it to be reliable
