More specificaly, 996 Turbo or AMV8 Vantage?

And what would be the reason for your choice?

Eager to hear your opinions, Cheers,

Aston.

Because it is an Aston. Personally I'd get a DB7 or DB9 Volante but still..

I couldn't bear to spend all that on a 996 Turbo. They have a following, but I'm not a big fan. So I'd have to buy the AM if that's the other option. I quite like V8s and aside from the lack of speed they are great. I'm expect they feel quite nice to drive.

Not very similar cars the Aston and turbo. What are you looking for, Posing or a mentally fast car?

Didn't realise you can get an Aston for 35k!

Could consider the GTR too?

Neither, I'm not into posing and I already have a car that's quicker than either of them up to the legal UK speed limit (on a very dry road wink ). Is the 997t a significant improvement over the 996t ? Appreciate they're very different, the 911t is (for me) an iconic 'must have' and the Aston is.. well it's an Aston smile
