How much would it cost for a drive in, drive out, to fit a tyre from people's experiences?

Just the one tyre and I already have it.

Cheers

I'm surprised people are quoting such cheap prices. Last year I was looking and people wanted 17/18 quid per tyre.
Found somebody who did it for a tenner each in the end. Valves must be 3-4 quid.

It'll cost them at least £3 just to get rid of the old tyre...

My local chap will do it for a tenner per corner. Does a decent job as well, proper car enthusiast so am happy with that.

£1 per tyre, £2.50 for a van/4x4 tyre, valves are £1, weights are about 10p each for knock ons, 50p for a strip of stick on's
takes about 15 mins to swap a tyre on a nice alloy, then consider cost of the machines to strip the tyres and balance them, eleccy and air, tyre lube etc etc, we have to make a profit, however small.

Most of these quotes are probably backstreet prices rather than larger or reputable companies. I always take mine to a decent place because I know they will do a perfect job and if they do damage it then I can gaurantee they will fix it or pay me the money to get all 4 wheels refurbed.

They'd be under 40p each if you buy them in bulk; You can get 5 for £2 on ebay.

Profile doesn't say where you are so if by any chance you are near Halesworth, Suffolk, my local chaps at Hammond's Tyres will do it for you for free - and extremely carefully and professionally.
