Dopey question re Coil Overs

To raise the ride height do I wind the spring bed up the shock absorber? Its mounted with the spring at the top if that helps

You want to compress the spring. Normally that would be winding the adjusters down towards the ground for coilovers.

On compressing means winding up for mine. Thanks compressing is what I thought
