Not Aston Martin related, but car related amusement.
There is plenty of hidden humour in serious newspapers, although the people who write this stuff, probably don't get the joke.

You have to laugh. - This is an advertisement for an electric car.
FROM JUST £239 PER MONTH
But, if you have very good eyesight or a magnifying glass, you can then see:-
You first need to pay £6282
Then 36 monthly payments of £239 = £8604
Then you pay a final rental £11,586
You have now had the car for 3 years, and have paid £26,473.
They tell you that you will never own the car !
What, I have just paid £26,473 ?
Well if you really insist, you can keep using the car, but you have to agree that the final rental, was not final, as in final, but the new meaning of final, which is not final at all.
You now have to pay an annual rental of £60.
Oh, and the car is exempt from the London congestion charge.
But wait, exempt also is a word with a new meaning, because you have to pay.
It is £10 annually to register for exemption.

Why do you keep worrying after you have driven 50 miles, of your 90 mile journey? After all you have paid £26,000. Slow down and you might make it.
UK sales in 2011 were 637, and how many of those were demonstrators?

Not tempted, but £70 a year (plus MOT costs, what else?) is actually pretty good!
How many times less is that than the road tax on a current Aston? 8 or more?
Clearly you'd have to have a very good reason to buy one - you could get a much better petrol car for 26 grand, even if you subtracted the amount you'd spend on fuel.
There's a guy commutes to near my office in a Tesla, charges it outside the building - it's actually a pretty good option - no congestion charge, no road tax, nicer than the tube, and fuel costs f-all. Quick in a straight line too.
Useless for anything other than city driving, but so is a scooter.
