Did you change your title to Mrs instead of Mr? if not all it tells us is that insurer has received fewer claims from draughtswomen than they have draughtsmen...
Which is gender discrimination. Men can not be draughtswomen and women can not be draughtsmen.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vAc5JqcBPK8

It doesn't have anything to do with gender, that's exactly the same difference as between draughtsman and fireman. There are fewer claims attached to that word in their database. If you received a cheaper quote calling yourself Mrs, that would be discrimination.
Surely Insurance companies are in the business of discriminating?
If the stats say one occupation carries a higher risk than another, they load the premiums accordingly. Same with postcode, car model, miles per annum, etc, etc. If the stats tell them draughtswomen are a lower risk than draughtsmen then they charge different amounts. Don't they?

Man and Woman are gender specific suffixes. Ditto, surely?

Not sure if this is troll or not
but essentially this is exactly what the insurance companies are now doing
they cannot directly take gender into account, but they are taking a closer look at other factors
i would not be surprised if a 19 year old male nurse with a pink car will start to get much cheaper insurance than he would have done before the rule change
