I've fabricated an aluminium heatshield for my intake system, and I want to seal it against the underbonnet/surrounding parts. I could do with something like the "weatherstripping" used in doors:

..except it seems not to be called weatherstripping in the UK, as all the listings are US or China ones with silly postage fees!

Any ideas on what I should be searching for, or where I can get this stuff? A scrapyard did occur to me as a last resort! Thanks in advance.

Top work guys, thanks smile

I think I'll place an order with CBS.. But since they charge £7.20 postage, I need to find some other stuff to buy as well to bulk it out a bit.. And so it begins!
