Hello,

Let's say you've just won a ridiculous amount of money. What's on the shopping list?

Modern or classic?

Mint or a fixer-upper?

Well known or obscure?

Sensible investment or... You get the idea!

Miles.

I would be straight down the road to our Local Aston dealer (about 5 minutes away) purchasing an AM V8, then I would program all the specialist car places into the Sat Nav, and off I go on a buying frenzy!

Just enjoy doing it with that V8 howl, and modern reliability and comfort!

With a big enough lottery win I'd buy Lotus (the company) and try to get a decent saleable road car into production! Including a special edition for myself of course!

Until I could move somewhere bigger I'd probably not buy an awful lot more than an AMG Merc estate as I could easily leave that on the side of the road. Although I reckon a Merc SLR might hide enough if I parked it in the right spot. Assuming a sufficient win I'd buy both an F40 and an F1. The latter would then go back to MSO for a makeover to my spec.

Well a DB9 Volante and F430 Spider will be the starting point. Depending on how much I won depends on how many more cars I am looking at. I think my 50m plus Euromillions win list is about 27 cars or so.

I'd invest in a new forum called 'whatwouldyoubuyifyouwon.com' as I think it would be really popular

wink Just kidding, I can't blame you as the forum search isn't working (unusually...)

I agree with this. As a 'thinking point' car I'd have a black C63 coupe with none of the flashy extras.

I would definitely start the search for a Jaguar XJ220 and a house with a suitable garage to put it in smile

Lamborghini Diablo SE30, 2 of 'em, and then Green Flags best breakdown cover. And a Honda S600 convertible to nip to the shops with.

Porsche 993 GT2, as I'd still want to dream about owning an F40 for a while

A years racing in the Clio cup and plenty of tuition in between events, and then buy a seat in the BTCC. I may not win, but sod it I want to be a touring car driver.

Road car wise would be a Nissan GTR first and then go shopping for the rarer more exclusive stuff after.

You forgot the "OMG someone's parking in my spot / near my spot / on my street / in my neighbourhood / on my lawn / on my roof / in my garage / in my car / in my trousers and I don't like it!" threads...
