On the subject of cheapest 200mph car, it got me thinking, what is the most expensive car made in the last 10 years that wont reach 120mph? this has to be claimed top speed for obvious reasons.

Ill start it off, Aston Martin Cygnet, £31,000, 106 mph.

Assuming you mean brand new, it'll be something electric, I suspect. The Tesla Roadster nearly qualifies (top speed: 125mph); there must be something that does.

There's an x5 which only reaches 121, and there's a 1 series 114d that struggles to hit 110, can't find a price for either though

Maybe something big and heavy like a diesel range rover? Must be one that can't do 120mph that cost quite a lot new.

Morgan 4 Seater. £40,200 (without options) for 110mph.

£365.45 per mph. Not bad.

Edited because I mixed up my Morgans...

Mercedes Viano 2.2 cdi extra-long is priced at £37,280 new and will do 117mph all out. Okay it's a van with windows but MB claim the Viano is a car.

Slowest X5 is 130mph, the 114d does 115mph but I guess 110 would be stretching goal as well, it costs around 20k.
