BMW i3 is rear wheel drive
Discussion
I'm a rear wheel drive snob. The word is that BMW have made at least the full electric version of their i3 rear wheel drive, with a 125kW/250Nm motor driving the rear wheels through a fixed-gear transmission.
There is also a range-extender model featuring an additional 650cc two-cylinder petrol engine (from a BMW scooter) that can double its driving range to over 180 miles. I'm not sure if that will be rear wheel drive, I hope it is.

You don't move the drive motors to the front when you add a range extender, unless it's an afterthought bodge and you don't care about losing money. So the range extended version with be exactly as much of a sideways drift monkey as the standard one. There is also a range-extender model featuring an additional 650cc two-cylinder petrol engine (from a BMW scooter) that can double its driving range to over 180 miles.
