Poorly Boy

I'm trying to find a diplomatic/sensitive way of asking this...

The young lad who was very very poorly; the lad who had the emotionally wrenching car day in his honour last year.

What's the update there? The last i saw on the thread was photos of the day and reports of how it went.

Anyone any news on him please?

P.S. I can't think of a suitable way to ask so apologies if it seems insensitive.
