Car Insurance is this possible

I have almost given up the will to live trying to sort this.
I have a modified stage 4 VXR220, registered in my name and in the UK. My son lives in Norway age 23, full license in Norway, no convictions, he wants to drive it with us to Monza from the UK in Sept to watch the F1. It is a 6 day trip and I can't find an insurance company to touch it, can you give me a dead cert company to go to as I have made hundreds of calls. Thanks in anticipation.

Sky insurance may be able to help.

they are pretty good with modified cars.

It's a shame the car's not Norwegian... think the deal there is the same in Sweden, it's the car that's insured, not the driver (under 25s will attract an add-on to the premium though).

Some insurer should be able to help, it would be worth seeing if his insurance company in NO has a sister company here to vouch for no-claims/convictions (tip gleaned from here before - I'm a UK citizen but holding a Swedish licence).

Thanks for the replies, we have tried the Norwegian side of it with no luck, surely there must be at least one company that can cover him just for a week.
