Evening one and all,

I have a question to put out to those that might know, that is:

I've just had my windscreen replaced due to a lovely big stone being thrown up from a lorry. The guys from National advised me not to clean the car for a week after fitting?? This they said was because a jet wash may upset the seal and the pressure of a sponge could also do the same??

I was thinking a few days yes but a week? This is news to me, never had it said before when I've had windscreens fitted??

Maybe it's because it's cold at the moment, won't set as quickly as in the summer.

It's just because it's covered in muck from my drive up & down the A120 every day, I will wait if people think it's best too but just wanted the car clean for my days off :-( I just though they may quote extra time to cover themselves
