Selling a body shell...

Hi all,

Had a query I was wondering if there's anyone who could help me with..

Can you sell body shells to scrap yards? Literally just the shell/chassis with no parts on. Or is it worth more cutting up and taking the bits to a metal scrapping place?

Mate of mine took an angle grinder to a Metro and over 4 loeads took it down the tip.

Scrap yard will give you something if you can get it there, chances are if they have to pick it up you'll not see anything from them, but they'll definitely have it

Cut it up and weigh it in at the scrappies.

They won't purchase a shell , anything that goes in to our scrappies get's crushed.
