Had this great idea the other day. Remove the cigarette lighter and replace it with a USB connection/charger.

Well, after a look on a few websites I'm too late. I don't need to face the dragons I've got an order in for a flush fitting USB-into-cigarette lighter 2A (so it works with Ipad2) for the friendly sum of less than a fiver.

Anyhow, I'd like to see this in a car instead of a cigarette lighter, I'm a smoker and never smoke in the car so never need the lighter, I'd say along with 90 percent of the country.

I'd also like to see rear view mirrors which become rear view camera's when you select reverse, my pal retro fitted this to his transporter for less than 100 quid. Why cannot every car have this, it weighs nothing and costs very little.

They already do that too. Without removing the cigarette lighter.

12v/any kind of power supply outlet on top of the dash.
Yes with a universal satnav lead that is integrated and pulls in and out like a seatbelt.

So instead of seeing what's behind you, you get to see what's behind you?

A great big spike on the steering wheel instead of an airbag.

It would do wonders for road safety.

Safe, sensible, observant, careful drivers wouldn't have to worry; boy racers, chavs and numbskulls would either have to amend their driving style or be deleted from society...

Obviously as a PH driving god, I don't really it. The misses on the other hand has dry humped the MG with the Mercedes twice reversing into our drive. The view from the camera is fantastic and when the MG is replaced with an Elise later in the year I am absolutely sure this shall be a necessity. Parking sensors are not enough.

Saw an ad for the Ford Kuga this morning. Make a kicking action by the rear bumper and the boot opens. Thought that was quite a neat little addition.

A gaggle of 20 year old hotties wearing less than you thought possibly counted for a 'skirt'?
