Hello all,
I'm thinking about taking the cash option since I'm no longer doing massive company miles.
If I decide to change my mind later on, I have the option to jump back into a company car as and when I like after doing this (subject to ordering period).

If I do go ahead and go private again, I'm wondering about no claims bonus.

I've been trundling about in company cars since 2006 without any problems caused by me* - what's the score regarding getting my no claims bonus back? I had 5 years of NCB before I took up the company car in 2006 so I'd be at 10 years+ by now otherwise.

I have a letter from the company car provider with claims history, as well as a letter from my old insurer back in 2006.

Are there any insurers that will honour these fully?

C

*For clarity, a taxi driver reversed into my parked company car at a customer site years ago, and I saw him do it, ran out, took photos and got his details - the claim was recovered from his insurer. No idea if that will affect my insurance.

ps. Apologies if this has been asked before. I searched and found nothing.
