What colour could you just not own!?
Discussion
Going on from reading the 're-sale grey' thread posted here, I was wondering what colours you just couldn't live with on certain cars. For me, the first one that popped into my head was Phoenix Yellow on the M3's... I love Dakar yellow, but this almost gold colour just doesn't do it for me!

Grey or silver. Grey is just out-and-out dull, whereas silver has this horrible effect of flattening all the life out of a shape, robbing any chrome highlights of any effect and allowing it to completely pass you by.
Black and white do the same to most cars, but there are some shapes where it works - very simply-shaped cars with no fancy surface curvature seem to suit it, and there are some great contrasts that can be performed with black paint (red leather interiors, for example). Works well for wedgy Italian supercars, makes most other things look rather dull and featureless.
I did own a white car once, but given that it was a Porsche 924, the simple wedge shape suited it. Since then all my cars have been red (by chance rather than choice), with the exception of a gold Alfa Romeo and a blue Mercedes.
Next? Maybe a Fiat Coupe. In Broom Yellow.
