I really don't 'get' these....all the drawbacks of a two seater with none of the benefits such as neat proportions/lightness!

Are they actually aimed at builders/tradesmen who need a pick up but need to get the job done, like REALLY quickly?

More surprising is that you can actually buy a new one in the UK from your local VX dealer:

This one looks like it has actually been a 'working' vehicle....

I've always said the day I want a 2 seater V8 I could find/afford one I'd buy the Maloo. It's just awesome

Over here rather than drive crummy drev transits or panel vans the sparkys plumbers builders etc all seem drive round in these beautys:

425bhp so no reason to be late to the job!

Still love the noise of them as well, if I ever move back to the uk going to miss the rumbling V8's that are so common here

Don't care about the fact that they're completely impractical for the UK - want one badly.

Yup. Great isn't it? Beats the constant sea of crappy white diesel vans we have over here.

If I was going to have a dedicated tip-run vehicle, one of them would be perfect. smile

I don't see how it's really any more ridiculous than, say, a supercharged Range Rover.

But they're right hand drive, will sit at the legal speed limit on motorway at tickover wink
