My policy ends at the end of March and as I'm moving abroad I don't need to renew it for a whole year, I only need insurance until July.

I've done a few quick quotes online but the policies end up being more expensive than a whole years cover. Am I better off just renewing for a year?

Thanks.

I was better off renewing on a monthly and just paying a cancelation charge

Renew for a year. When it comes to the time you want to cancel tell them you've sold the car and bought something incredibly rare and exoctic.

As long as it's something they won't insure you will then get all your unused premium back rather than unused premium + an inordinately large "admin" charge.

This will depend on the company but a certain company in a state of Flux are the worlds experts at these type of charges for early cancellation.

May one with a particular insurer or some, but it won't with all
