Anyone know if these are worth it? Anyone had one for an E46 330Ci?

Or are they a con?

So basically it improves throttle response? Personally just get your car serviced and set up on a rolling road. I would.

I thought throttle response was the time between pressing the throttle and noticing the rpm's rise?
I can't see how you can affect this lag on a drive by wire E46 without getting rid of drive by wire? Presumably this just makes a small accelerator input larger than previously, making the car feel more "responsive" but actually meaning the full travel of the accelerator pedal is less useful.

Exactly this.

You could achieve the same by wearing heavier shoes. Stupid system, and yet people think it makes their car "far sportier" because they suddenly go quicker everywhere. For those of us who know how far the throttle pedal actually travels, however..

I'd say no, unless it somehow pre-empts your pedal movements therefore removing the delay, (which it can't).

£200 is an awful lot for a resistor in a box.
