Car now wrapped by PW PRO after a disaster by another well known GT-R specialist in Surrey.

Looks like a great job and I admire the brave choice in colour! I got the impression the dog was head consultant, or at least seemed to act like one!

If those guys should have the misfortune of working in a warehouse they'd make some lovely pallets. That original work was horrendous, I hope you got a full refund for that, frankly!

I believe I am entitled to one, but unfortunately that means getting money out of Valet Magic who did the wrap.
So far I'm being ignored.

Poor form IMO.

Scary thing is I know there are a lot of similarly damaged cars out there, but the owners don't want to admit it for fear of damaging the resale value.

Basically, if buying a car worked on by Valet Magic give it a thorough check over.

About 1600 at PW PRO or 2000 at Valet Magic.
The scratches cost the extra 400.
Wish I' d gone for the cheaper option first time round.

This is one of the many reasons why i wouldn't want to buy a 'ready-wrapped' car. Really shocking that.

I may have missed it, but did you get the scratches fixed pre-re-wrap?

Lucky they stopped filming before they refitted the rear diffuser else you'd have seen my ugly mug!

Looks good buddy, don't think video does justice to how bright that yellow is though!

Why anyone would employ people to drag scalpel blades all over a car body is beyond me. Wrapping cars is close to vandalism. I would NEVER consider buying a car which has been wrapped - whoever did the work. Utter tat mod!

Interesting video - thanks for sharing.

(Much prefer the original (paint) colour though)

How does vinyl wrap hold up against swirls, scratches, and what's it like to polish/wax - does the gloss fade with time/age/weathering ? Maybe these are obvious questions but I don't know much about this and what it's like to keep vs. paint.

How do they go about wrapping awkward areas like sills, door edges, and visible paint under the bonnet etc ?
