Your nerdiest "thing" you have about cars

Come on, get your suppressed inner nerds out, what little things do you like on a car that you can't really explain (or would want to explain) to someone else, apart from here of course. I'll start with: Bonnet gas struts. I love a good gas strut. Also, the tick tock of a BMW indicator from about 10 years ago.

Late 80s / early 90s car stereos - Nakamichis, Blaupunkts, Beckers especially. I couldn't care less if they don't produce 4x60W or have iPod integration, although Dolby C is a nice to have

I like indicators and switchgear to have a good heavy 'clunk' to it. Can't stand all this soft-touch push-button stuff so many cars have. I actually like the fact my indicator stalk makes a nice hefty 'clack' when you press it.
