You know there's a really easy way to find out, don't you?

You will probably be able to get put on your dad's policy for a considerable sum. I'm not sure if they will do it for less than 30 days though. You probably won't find anywhere that will cover you directly for a short period either. Most day insurers or short term insurers want people over 23 or so.

Highly unlikely then.

Do you have car of your own? Might be cheaper to talk to your insurer for temp cover if you have one?

Then I think you are stuck.

Day insure have age limits. If you fathers insurer won't add you, then the answer will be no, I'm afraid. (you are too high a risk)

When does your dad go on holiday?;)
If they won't put you on his policy, then I guess your best bet is stuffed. Try a local insurance broker, if such a thing still exists.

You could add it to your policy as a temp car, might have to speak to a manager to get it done, I got a track car vr6 when I was 18 guy on the phone said no asked to speak to a manager and they accepted it although it wad third party only and had a rather high excess was only for 24 hours.

As he noted, he doesn't have one.
