In 1996 , i had a new ASTRA SR the old GTE shape that was onlt 86 BHP. A GOLF 8V GTI was 110BHP my micra is half the weight and is 112 BHP AND 240 tourqe so your next question is ???????????????? how many small an big cars you dont mind have the same renualt 1500 turbo diesel engine has my micra.and they are running 86bhp. its a micra so what WTF

I also have a k12 Micra albeit a 1.2 petrol, it handles like a wobbly bucket of wobbly stuff, and definitely can't keep up with an Impreza as the OP has previously claimed. Weight wise there probably isn't a huge amount between the golf and the Micra, as the dry weight of the Micra is, if I'm not mistaken 915+kg, i assume it's more for the diseasel. I understand that you like your car, i do not understand what your question was though.

To be fair, I had a Micra 160SR back in the day. It was a decent little warmish hatch, handled well and was generally fun to punt about.

However, it was in no way a TVR/Subarubishi/Bugatti etc beater and it certainly wasn't worthy of online masturbation.
