Hi Guys
I picked a new daily driver on Friday. I purchased it from an old boy at the local.
Its old (1995) and only paid £700 but someone has spent a fair bit of time on it in the past chucking a load of Porsche bits on it.
It felt fairly nippy when I drove it, not bad for a boggo 1.8.

What do you think?

I think it's actually a 2.2 with 315bhp and cost a lot more than £700!

What's with the Porsche stuff? and the badge?

I can understand the wheels but to go to the effort of calipers?

Not sure if serious...

Either way, I need more pics of what is one of my all time favourite cars.

ETA: After reading the last few posts, I despair for the future of PH.

I had one of those a few years ago as a daily driver - ridiculously fast, epic lag. Had to accelerate going INTO a corner so the boost was there on the way out, great car!

Wish I'd kept it!

Hi
I very recently started trading in retro classics again and recently sold a Lancia Integarle Evo 2, Merc 190 Cosoworth, a 911 and now have this!

It will go through a refurbishment programme before being sold.

I will take pictures in a few weeks once it is complete.

Also not sure if serious. If that is an RS2, they are in the classifieds and autotrader for £11k minimum.

Great list of cars and I'm very much looking forward to seeing the finished product!

So how much did you actually pay for it? What work needs doing?

This.

OP, good on you - more of an up-market 'Wheeler Dealer'?

Luke.

Naturally I am not going to reveal what I paid for it but it just needs some tlc. A short list:

Lepsons for 4 x wheel refurb
Repair drivers seat bolster
4 x new tyres
2 x rear shock mounts
small amount of bodywork
full service

Sort of, very part time at first (year).

Think I am going to call myself 'Performance Classics'.
