12 year old with three Ferraris!
Discussion
I'm going to stick my neck out here and say it's a hoax. He has acquired three Ferraris as a result of cashing in from the sale of an app. So working backwards, he's needed time to obtain the three cars and use them extensively (according to him), he's needed to realise the earnings from his app sale, he needed to get Google interested. So how old was he when he wrote the app? Eight or nine.
If this lad had made £8.5m from an app he wrote before the age of 10 I feel we'd have seen more of him in the press before now.

Contrary to my above post im calling b
ks now.
As mentioned above we would of heard of a success story like this by now.
Here is another video of him aged 10 being interviewed by a complete t
t. It also states that his grandparents bought him the car and at the very end as he climbs in the drivers seat to leave the video cuts, if this was genuine surely they would video him driving it or at least obtained some track footage.

Fair play to him, it must be a popular app if thats the income he is getting from it
I've dug around and cannot find anything beyond "sold an App to Google"There's Summly but that was sold to Yahoo

When there's talk of a documentary, my bulls

In terms of earnings, Apps can rake-in a lot of cash - one of the biggest right now is "Puzzle and Dragons" which is earning 10s of millions of dollars a month (and it's not available outside Japan/the US atm!!) - the (Japanese) company behind it is listed with a higher stock price than Nintendo right now...
