Well didn't really have a very good day yesterday...and certainly one I dont want to repeat. Driving along the M25 in lane 2 passing a Romanian truck 60mph cruise on said truck starts to pull across on me....I move over blasting the horn he then continues and clips the back end of the Saab sending me spinning, hit the arm-co go airborne (about 3-4 foot according to one of the nice people that stopped!) and end up down the side of the M25 on the side/roof....very very sore today and sadly the Saab is dead...it did its job an kept me alive...Well done Saab for building such great cars.

Wow, that still looks rather driveable, passenger compartment is intact enough, and no directly visible suspension/oily bit damage.

Saabs really are in a leaque of their own when it comes to crash safety, quite a shame that the brand is dead now.

Not really - I'm sure a Volvo would hold up just as well. Probably a few other brands too.

Only the passenger airbag went off the side ones didn't because the speed and angle of impact apparently quite glad the drivers one didn't go off to be honest!

Yep the Romanian did stop all of the emergency service and the Highways lot turned up...

Very impressed with the car (wifes car I was using it that day) all the door gaps are to cock but every door opens and closes even the boot.
