No, I'm not affiliated in anyway to them, and I know you need to be a member, but many people are.

I picked up a set of their booster cables for £16 just now. They are 6m long and have 21mm sq. cable to boot. Easily the beefiest I've seen for this kind of money, they also have pretty decent clamps which open wide enough to go over even the biggest of terminals.

I tried to find the product in the website but its not there! Google can't find them either.

I've stored them in the car now, but will happily grab a pic of them tomorrow for you. smile

Here you go. You can see for reference the cleaning brush they came with shows the cable thickness and the clamps are pretty sturdy (they are the ratcheting type too, so stay clamped shut). They even came with a canvas bag, which if being critical looks flimsy at best.

thanks for that

is the £16 some kind of special offer or always that price?

ive got a set of these and they are rubbish

the clamps are designed to work on American batteries - where the terminals are bolted through the sides with a bolt (or those thin wrap round clamps old fords used to use), they wont grip very well onto normal 'u.k' style batteries when the normal type of square battery clamps are used because you have to open them so far to get them to grip on (they are even more hopeless if the battery has sunken posts, its just game over then, the ratchet mechanism is never at the right setting to clamp on hard enough for them to be any use.

after several failed attempts, I cut the ratchet clamps off and fitted normal crocodile type clamps, mine work fine now!
