My wife ripped the side of her car off last week so I am driving a courtesy car from the insurance company (see title). Its a real hoot. Small car, big engine, running on pram wheels. Great fun. That is all.

Not officially imported into the UK from memory?

Arnold Clark bought a load from Southern Ireland and flogged them cheaply, although happy to be corrected.

I'm sure you're right. I am not in the UK, and I wouldnt recommend one. Its just a bit of unexpected fun.

Does that mean Arnold Clark had to change the speedos from KPH to MPH? Or did Nissan do it for them?

I've heard this car was a big flop in Ireland (and in Australia, BTW), which is how Arnold Clark was able to buy a huge number of RHD Tiidas and sell them at a knock-down price.

Only going with what has been posted on here and other fora, and the fact that it was never a UK Import, and every bloody one I see has an AC sticker on it!
