Saw this link in the Supercars Spotted thread and thought it would be interesting to hear some comments on some of the stuff up for grabs.

No-one thinks any of these are interesting?

There must be a story behind why all this stuff is suddenly up for a no-reserve auction too. Any ideas?

Hmm, what can we infer?

Certainly that at least one collector of US trucks and rats couldn't pay a large tax bill.

And judging by the numbers involved that people who buy sports bikes, speed boats and gold watches have a tendency to evade tax. biggrin

O/T but what should happen with a car like this - i.e do you get it serviced annually even though it clearly isn't going anywhere?

Wow some interesting Gems there. the rat look 4100 1/2ton pickups look stunning. do you think this is all one collection from say a garage going bust or do you think they just have collected them till they have enough to auction. Its almost like an american version of 4star classics has gone bust and is being sold off.

My brother has registered for this with specific interest in purchasing one item - clearly I'll not tell you which until afterwards though! They required a £500 refundable deposit before you are given permission to bid.

Where are the vehicles?

They seem to be in Northern Ireland. What with that and the complete lack of history etc., I can't see any of these vehicles making good money. I'd be too scared to even start the Testarossa up, let alone drive it anywhere.

The Series 1 Landy looks good. If it's all from the same owner they have diverse tastes!

Edited to add.

The van is from Chequered Flag Car Sales, Halifax.

I think I'd sooner deal with his brother Santa.
