BCA Auction Help. British Gas vans, Which company ?

So after the go ahead from my wife we are getting a van to turn into a campervan / surf bus. So been looking at van of the Transit type.

Went down to BCA Blackbushe today to see the AA vans and the Post office vans on sale. Some of them are cheap ! 55k Post office vans going for £1800, and a 2008 transit ex AA with 42k miles went for £5,400.

So after taking my wife she has decided she likes the Dispatch, scudo, expert LWB vans more.

After researching found out there are Ex British Gas Dispatches in LWB versions about. Now they aren't going to pop up as much as the post office vans, so I would like to keep a eye out for them in the next few months catalogs.

Only thing is I don;t know which company British gas vans get sold through. AA and post office I saw today were through Lombard.

Does anyone know ?

If I remember correctly they were leased through Hitachi Capital or Lex, if that helps?

My old BG van was leased through Hitachi Capital and I think my VW Caddy is Lombard but not sure, I'll have a look tomorrow, it varies these days depending on when they're replaced.
