Its use belongs in the "things that automatically make you think knob thread"
When I first saw it used, it seemed to be speed/100, but now it seems the mph is just substituted by lepton.
I can't help but think of Chris Barrie as Rimmer saying it in on overly nasal way.
Anyway, whatever.

Yes but to incriminate ones self is far more silly
Surely everything posted is hearsay?I'm not sure what the legal position of a speeding charge based solely on a forum post would be?
I did 63mph this morning.

There have been a number of cases of people being arrested for criminal offences after posting about them on a social networking site. I see no reason that a forum like PH would be any different. Of course whether the Police would bother, is another matter entirely. If someone was involved in a fatal accident and had a history of posting on here that they broke the speed limit, I suppose it would be taken as circumstantial evidence.
I can't see it makes any difference in a legal sense. If someone could prove 'association' or something I am pretty sure you'd still be in trouble.
Whilst we are at it can we add...
'Talk to me' to any new filter, it makes people sound like they have just come out of prison and are trying to put their lives back together.

Have a look for 10PenceShort's posting on his experience of exactly that followed by a spell at her majesties pleasure.kambites said:

Isn't it more relevant to sentencing than proving guilt for a particular offence?Of course whether the Police would bother, is another matter entirely.
