Hi All,

I need to replace my rear number plate on my 2 year old Mercedes as apparently this isnt covered under warranty even though the letters are beginning to flake off!

Does anyone know the best website to order new ones from?

Regards,

Craig

I've used these guys before:

http://www.demonplates.com/

IIRC delivery was very quick and the plate was very good quality!

You could go to your local merc dealer and ask them to make a plate while you wait and get their logo along the bottom
If the plates are standard Hills they ought to last a few years
Otherwise see other posts

You could try www.framptons.net

They do all types of plates (including the latest style/type)
and are highly recommended by veteran and historic car clubs.

Whatever is cheapest on eBay that uses plates with the GB logo integral to the reflective background, like this:

Rather than printed on, like this:

Far better quality with the former, I find. £12 a set maximum.

Replace both, not just the rear, or your car will look like it's had a shunt up the arse to a pedantic wker like me.

I used www.myshowplates.com

Great value, all sorts of options (borders, flags, whatever) and they are very good quality.
