I know the mileage is incredibly low but why would anyone even consider this when you could get a cracking CSL for the same price, if not less? Wishful thinking by the dealer?

I had a feeling that the dealer would be a certain six sided one in north London.

With that sort of mileage and price the dealer is aiming towards a collector who would no doubt want the CSL instead!! Give me an e92 m3 for half the money!

I've got a feeling this car has raised it's head before with similar results.
A classic case of a dealer chancing his arm, you can ask what you like, but it's only worth what someone else is prepared to pay for it, the only way that is going to achieve £40k is if it's tucked away in a bubble for 20 years.

and it's in refrigerator white... the idea of TV in an M3 is anathema as well I reckon. It is a bit overpriced but then it is basically unused so at some point I expect it'll be worth that.

Who's going to buy it though?? Hardly any miles so if your buying it to use there's not much point as you will erode any of the value once it's got a few miles on it and probably end up with hassle if its just stood all this time not being used. Then if your buying it as an investment your paying IMO what it's going to be worth with 2k miles on in another 10years now so not much of an investment!! Pointless... Although not entirely pointless as the dealer has captured people's attention! I wonder if they are as generous on p ex prices???

I do like the M3 in white. It's such a rare colour. If I were to get one (and it is on my 'possible wish list') then it wouldn't be silver. Or Black. Or any shade of Grey either. It would have to be something like Imola Red, Estoril Blue, Atlantis Blue or something else slightly different from the norm. But not Phoenix or Dakar yellow. For some reason I don't like Laguna Seca blue though.

Re.. re...repost...

But for the right buyer, why not. Problem is, would you want to drive it?

Also just a suggestion but when posting links try not to include your postcode... Nefarious types and all that!

Combo of mileage and colour I suppose....I was a member of an M3 forum when these were new....I don't remember a single white car.

That's there game....they're privately owned so unlike almost every other main dealer they can keep cars indefinitely. Most dealers have a 90 day "sell it or trade it" policy.

4 star classics had the same car for sale last year with the same mileage, I may be wrong but it was bought with a low mileage RS4 the owner also had.
