Bmw service overdue

I had a service just 6k miles ago, where they did an oil change and various other things however its saying service is due again and has a picture of a a car on a ramp its a 2011 123d. iv just booked it in at my local dealer but the earliest they had is 3 weeks away. and i do 500-700 miles a week. anybody know what the ramp icon means is this just a check up or something? like i say it had a service just 6k ago, im worried about warranty issues as it still has 12 months left. i seem to recall the car on a ramp icon is just an inspection can anybody confirm?
