V8 AMG for a bag of sand - somebody must!

Someone has got to save this W210 AMG Merc.
It's all original as far as I can see.
I saw it languishing in a car park & mentioned it to the guy who is doing some work on my old MG & it's actually his car.
I'll take some pics & post here next week but it's only up at £1 k
I believe it's MOTd & it's quite smart - not a rust bucket.

Wonder how much of a money pit that would be.
I guess for a grand, just fix the little bits that break, and then scrap it when something substantial goes wrong.. seems so wrong to treat a V8 AMG Merc to the rules of bangernomics but.. I suspect it could ruin you if you tried to fix everything that went wrong on it! Wonder how much of a money pit that would be.
