Friend has had her Skoda Fabia diesel for 6 years now, who now wants a new petrol supermini with the proviso that it must have heated seats & rear parking aids. The rear parking sensors can as far as I know be retrofitted to any car, so what superminis and spec levels definitely have heated seats and are between 1 & 3 years old?

Though some of the high spec fiestas might be the way to go, but not sure heated seats are available.

I think you will find that heated seats will have been an option on pretty much every super mini really. I know vw beetles used to come with them standard though, not sure if that is still the case?

The Hyundai i10 style model has heated seats as standard, but that is more city car than supermini and is due to be replaced.

Funnily enough I'm almost in this exact same position. I'm replacing my Fabia TDi Elegance with something a little more desirable, and finding heated seats in newer cars is VERY hit and miss.

All Elegance models had the things (to my knowledge) and they also all had cruise control. Moving up from an Ambiente to an Elegance model gave me those two things, and I'd never appreciated how useful they are.

I'd almost go as far as saying that they (nearly) swayed me into buying an Audi TT yesterday because it had them, and they'd certainly have seen me spend my money on an Octavia 2.0 FSI VRs

Even something like an Exeo with the Tech trim, or the top of the range LS220 doesn't have them as standard, and those are cars I've also considered.

It's a first world problem of course, but I'd really miss them if a new car didn't have them.

If he is buying new, then I would hazard a guess that pretty much all will have it on their options lists somewhere.

Seen this but was ignoring the fact a Corsa had these, trying to keep it as much PH as possible
:-)

As for piles? Who am I to argue with a woman :-], at least she is asking for something other than a "red one".

Covers aren't going to be an option, if a lowly Fabia can have heated seats and rear parking sensors a new motor is going to have them. I think some fiesta titanium "s"'s or is it "x"s have these as standard but not sure when this happened.

If it was a new car you could spec it. But things are very hit and miss on my searches of 1 to 3 year old cars.

The heated seats in my car make me feel like I've had a messy accident in my underpants.

Most disconcerting for a chap in his 40's.

I've never had new fangled things like heated seats. Had to laugh my friend has just discovered that her Fabia has cruise control after 6 years Of ownership. Almost worth a thread of its own.

My Fiesta Metal has heated seats as standard, parking sensors were part of the City Pack.

MINI have heated seats as an option (had them on my R56 S).

New Sandero Stepway with the 3-pot. Unbeatable value for money and looks quite decent!
