Hello all

Does anyone know the inns and outs of keeping the law from your back in regards to uploading fast street driving vids?

Just my thoughts but if the driver is not identifiable then there can be no prosecution brought forward?

You'll be fine. The Internet is completely anonymous, nobody can find you unless you tell them who & where you are.

I'm no PH detective, but your PH profile includes your whole name. If you type that name into YouTube there is someone of that name uploading several videos of a guy driving a modified Mk1 310 Bhp Focus RS (as per your PH garage) rather quickly.

I went to prison, partly due to evidence of things I'd written, tongue in cheek, on an internet forum.

If you have any videos of yourself driving like a prick on Youtube, take them down (and stop driving badly).

Might sound fuddy duddy, but it's the best way forward.

Just to help the OP out a bit, the name he has used on PH and YouTube is obviously made up to keep his anonymity. Smart move.

Also, the videos he uploaded are some that he found on another website anyway, so he isn't sure who is actually driving and whose car it is. It's just coincidence that it is a similar model to the one he drives in a sensible manner on a daily basis.

Right guys?

Can I ask for some more info on your charge?

Only every time someone posts something like the 'did 140 in the M5 yesterday' there is always someone telling them they'll go to prison, and I've always thought they were overreacting.
