...Get mad because they dare hoot at you. Was that you, tonight, who stole my lane when I was exiting a roundabout? Why did you beep and wave your arms around? Why did you try crashing into the back of my bike when I waved my contempt? Were you for real, trying to out accelerate a bike? What did you think you would say if you caught up with me you retard? Do you think you could crash into me and not be arrested?

That is all. I feel better now.

Lots of people struggle to use the roads correctly. Best to try and not get overly wound up by it.

Yep, ride your bike expecting the worst from car divers and you'll be fine.

One small twist of the throttle and they'll be 100 meters behind you.

Breath and relax.

Did you enter the roundabout at high speed?

I'm not suggesting that you did but it wouldn't be an uncommon thing for a rider to do.

People in cars don't appreciate how quick bikes can be & don't always make sure they are looking right again before emerging.

Actually new, not really. I was at the 9 o'clock position, they pulled out at.10 o'clock, when I'd joined at 6, from stationery. So I felt justified in beeping. Couldn't understand why they beeped back. This was england, and yes, I did laugh at the above replies!!

People in cars don't appreciate how quick cars can be & don't even bother to look right before entering a roundabout.

I had a guy last night come absolutely tearing past me on the approach to a roundabout and then very nearly hit me as he swerved into my lane (all in very heavy traffic), I had to swerve out of the way and a collision was avoided by inches. Turned out he didn't even want to be in my lane, he wanted to be in his original lane but was trying to 'filter' without looking. I had my window down and so did he so I told him what I thought of him and his driving (am being serious that all I did was just pootle along in my lane doing nothing wrong). The guy and his mate then proceed to drive alongside me shouting 'You wanna say something buddy? you want to say something buddy?' I responded as any good PHer would by telling him to look in his fking mirrors and stop driving like a tt. Fairly sure if he could have kept up him and his mate would have been doing a wee dance on my head.

People are s.

I have to be very careful when pulling out these days because bikers dont know what a speed limit is or appreciate that riding at 80 mph in a 30 MPH limit just might be dangerous for them.
THINK BIKE because they cannot think for themselves.

However I cannot ever recall having to worry about a bike pulling out on me and I dont mind atall being overtaken or making room at the front at traffic lights for them, why should I bother they dont hold me up, good luck to them I used to be one.

The bit that says you should give way to traffic on your right, especially traffic that is actually on the roundabout. It occupied the bit that I was going to exit on so I had to use the other lane to do so. That's why I felt upset. However I have seen people pull out of here before so I was being extra careful. Still doesn't explain why they kicked off, maybe they have issues from childhood?
