This is often parked around the corner from the office, always on double yellows and for hours on end - is this legal or do they have some special dispensation from the rules?

The ones around here just drive round constantly, never seen one parked up.

Looks like a City of London council sticker on the back of it. As the council are the ones that give out fines that's probably why it doesn't get one.

Ah I work just up from here and i've seen that a few times. Usually some wardens around giving tickets to the delivery vans on that street too. (which is a nightmare because of all the CONSTANT roadworks)

They have dispensation; they can park pretty much where they want.

Saw a programme about impending changes last week and the interviewer went up to the driver of a scamera car parked in a loading bay. He said to the parking scumbag "If a member of the public parked here, you would ticket him. What right have you to park here?"

The bloke, embarrassed to hell, couldn't drive away quickly enough! Scamera down and Smart car off as fast as it's little wheels would spin!
